Author's Bio

Adele Elise Williams is the author of Wager selected by Patricia Smith for the 2024 Miller Williams Poetry Series. She is a PhD candidate in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Houston where she served as Nonfiction Editor for Gulf Coast from 2020-2024. With Dana Levin, Adele co-edited the most recent volume of the Unsung Masters Series on poet Bert Meyers. Her work can be found in New Ohio Review, Poetry Northwest, The Georgia Review, Guernica, The Florida Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Indiana Review and elsewhere.
