Betsy Martin

Betsy Martin is the author of the poetry chapbook, Whale’s Eye (Presa Press, 2019). She has published poetry in Atlanta Review, The Briar Cliff Review, Cloudbank, Green Hills Literary Lantern, Juked, The Louisville Review, The MacGuffin, The Midwest Quarterly, Pennsylvania English, Pirene’s Fountain, and over sixty other journals. She has advanced degrees in Russian language and literature and spent a year studying in Moscow at the Pushkin Institute during the twilight of the Soviet Union. She worked for many years at Skinner House Books in Boston, practices yoga, and plays the piano. She lives outside Boston with her husband, David.
