ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Bob Brooks was educated at The Asheville School and at Harvard College. He served in the United States Army as a translator stationed in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin and then worked for many years as an editor at Bolt Beranek and Newman Incorporated. In the late nineties he began publishing poetry in such magazines as The Beloit Poetry Journal, Poetry, Poetry Northwest, and Prairie Schooner. His poems have been collected in three chapbooks: Still in Here Someplace (Pudding House, 2002) A Story Anyone Could Stick To (Finishing Line Press, 2008), and Three-season Views (Finishing line Press, 2009); and in the full-length collection Unguarded Crossing (Antrim House Press, 2011). He and his wife live in Concord, Massachusetts, where he is a founding member of the Concord Poetry Center, and in Stockton Springs, Maine.
