Author's Bio

Corinne Hughes is a queer poet. She was born in Texas and has since lived in more places than she can count. In 2004, she received a fellowship to attend the since-retired National Book Foundation Summer Writing Camp in Bennington, Vermont. She studied poetry and Russian at Evergreen State College and won a Jury Prize for her research on arts education development in post-Soviet Central Asia. She has an MPA from Portland State University and works in community outreach. She frequently sits on panels for grant proposals and enjoys judging youth writing contests.
