Author's Bio

Courtney McDermott earned her BA in English from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Notre Dame. Her debut collection of short stories, How They Spend Their Sundays (Whitepoint Press 2013) was nominated for the PEN/Hemingway Award and The Story Prize. A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in the country of Lesotho, she now teaches online in Southern New Hampshire University's Master's in English-Creative Writing Program.
