Dawn Bratton lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she has found a quiet corner to write poetry and prose that orbits the image of eyes and theme of perception. During 2021 - 2023 she served as secretary and vice president on the board of directors for WordSwell, a literary nonprofit and online journal based out of Oakland, CA. In 2023 she helped co-founded Moon Blossom Collective, an arts and wellbeing community, where she currently serves on the board of directors. Her work has appeared in Fjords Review, The Bloom, Oracle, Matter, The Opiate, Modern Literature, The Metaworker, Global Poemic, and Disquiet Arts, among other journals.
