Dolly Lemke was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and has lived in Chicago for the past 10 years. During that time, she has worked in higher ed and online learning in various capacities, from teaching freshman comp to writing, editing, and designing online course content. She previously worked at Wiley Education Services from 2012-2015 as an Online Course Editor and Content Producer. She also spent close to two years working as a Learning Designer at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies before returning to Wiley Education Services as a Learning Designer in July 2017. She collaborates with faculty across universities and programs to create meaningful and engaging online learning experiences for adult students.

Dolly holds an MFA in Poetry and a BA in English with a creative writing concentration. She is the author of three chapbooks: O Town Heights (DoubleCross Press, 2012), I’m so into you (plumberries press, 2013), and Wyoming (dancing girl press, forthcoming 2018). She founded and co-curated The Dollhouse Reading Series from 2011-2016. She also co-founded and currently serves as Poetry Editor for the online poetry journal Pinwheel.
