Rebecca Pyle is a writer of stories, poetry, essays, and reviews appearing over the past decade in many art/literary journals--mainly journals created in the United States, but also journals created in The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, India, England, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.

Prizes won: 

Fiction by Rebecca Pyle has been nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize. She is a former winner of the Carruth poetry prize, the Edgar Wolfe fiction award, and the Whitcombe fiction prize. As a poet she was once the runner-up to Irish poet and overall winner Medbhe McGuckian in the United Kingdom's National Poetry Competition, co-sponsored by The Poetry Society and BBC2.  Judges at art/literary journals and reviews have longlisted or shortlisted her fiction, poetry, and essays for multiple prizes and awards.
