Author's Bio

Kate Folk is a 2019-2021 Wallace Stegner Fellow in fiction at Stanford University. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney's, the New York Times MagazineGranta, and One Story, among others, and has been optioned for tv and film adaptation. She's received support from the MacDowell Colony, the Headlands Center for the Arts, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Vermont Studio Center. Originally from Iowa, she’s lived in San Francisco since 2008.
