Author's Bio

Marcela Sulak grew up on a rice farm in Texas, received an MFA from the University of Notre Dame, and a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin, has lived and worked in Washington, DC, Germany, Czech Republic, and Venezuela before moving to Tel Aviv to Direct the Shaindy Rudoff Graduate Program in Creative Writing. In addition to her collections of poetry, memoir, and her edited editions, Sulak translates from Czech, Hebrew, French, German, Yiddish, and Spanish.
