Author's Bio

Mary Winsor is a writer from the Southwestern U.S. where most of her short fiction and a novel in progress are set. Her essay "Rules of Flight" was selected as a Notable Essay in Best American Essays 2023 (Robert Atwan and Vivian Gornick, editors). Other work can be found or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, As We Convene: An Anthology of Time and Place, The Cutleaf Reader Vol. 3 (EastOver Press), Threepenny Review, Northwest Review, Blue Mesa Review, Atticus Review, and elsewhere. Mary is a graduate of the MFA program at George Mason University. She teaches English and Creative Writing at Salt Lake Community College.
