Matthew Schnirman (he/him/they/them) is a queer Jewish poet living in Seattle, WA. They earned their BA in Creative Writing from Florida State University and an MFA from the University of Arizona where they also taught Intro to Poetry courses and served as the associate poetry editor for the Sonora Review. They've received residencies and fellowships from Hugo House, Jack Straw Cultural Center, Vermont Studio Center, and Ucross Foundation. Their poems have appeared in Under a Warm Green Linden, Poetry Northwest, HIV Here & Now, CutBank, PHANTOM, Whiskey Island, and other journals and anthologies.
