Literary Site Type: Indie Bookstore

Printed Page Bookshop is a used bookstore that houses several booksellers under one roof. The booksellers carry rare and out-of-print books in many categories, along with a collection of classic, contemporary, and vintage books.

West Side Books is an independent bookstore located in the historic Highlands neighborhood of northwest Denver. Since 1998, the store has been carrying new, used, rare, and collectible books. West Side Books hosts concerts, readings, and other literary events open to the public for free.

Established in the early eighties by Chicano poet and community activist Raúl Salinas, Resistencia bookstore has sponsored readings and political forums featuring nationally and internationally known writers, human rights activists, and indigenous artists. It has also provided meeting space for grassroots organizations, such as the Austin Cuba Committee, the Leonard Peltier Support Group, and El Comite en Solidaridad con Chiapas y Mexico, as well as hosting Pastors and Veterans for Peace delegations to Cuba and Nicaragua.

Located in the heart of New Orleans’s French Quarter, Faulkner House Books is a full-service new and used independent bookstore. In addition to William Faulkner, the bookstore specializes in Tennessee Williams, Walker Percy, Modern First Editions, Southern Americana with an emphasis on New Orleans and Louisiana-related titles, and Johnsoniana.
