Author's Bio

Rebecca Kaiser Gibson is the author the novel  The Promise of a Normal Life (Arcade Publishing, 2023), and two poetry collections: Girl as Birch, 2022 and  Opinel, 2015 (Bauhan Publishing,) and two chapbooks, Admit the Peacock and Inside the Exhibition. She is the recipient of residencies from MacDowell, The Heinrich Böll Cottage in Ireland, Vermont Studio Center and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts.  She received a fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and was selected as a Fulbright Scholar to teach poetry in Hyderabad, India.  She is founder and director of The Loom, Poetry in Harrisville, a poetry reading series in New Hampshire.

Her poems have appeared in The Adroit Journal; Agni; Field; The Greensboro Review; Green Mountains Review; The Harvard Review; The Massachusetts Review; Ocean State Review; Salamander; Slate; and featured in VerseDaily among others.

Rebecca lives in Marlborough, NH and taught poetry at Tufts University for 23 years.
